What is Kuku Spa Midtown West?

Kuku Spa Midtown West is our largest and most comprehensive location, a garden-view retreat steps from Columbus Circle and Central Park. It brings bodywork, lymphatic bodywork, facials, and foot care together under one roof, so you can choose a single treatment or combine two in one visit.

The space has five bodywork spaces separated by curtains, which can be combined for couples or groups of three. It also has three beauty rooms for facials and six foot chairs. Our specialists are experienced and highly skilled, and there is time to settle in before and after your session.

Why choose Kuku Spa Midtown West?

Midtown has plenty of places to book a massage, so here is what sets Kuku Spa apart.

  • A clean, calm, welcoming space. Guests often tell us the environment is the first thing they notice and the reason they come back. Floor-to-ceiling windows, soft lighting, and a quiet garden view set the tone from the moment you walk in.

  • Time to stay. Midtown West guests tend to linger longer than at our other locations, enjoying tea before or after a session. Many choose a longer session or combine two treatments in one visit.

  • Services tailored to what you need. Instead of one generic 60 minutes, you can choose a focus, such as the neck and shoulders, the lower back, or the full body, and a session length to match.

  • A wide range under one roof. Massage and bodywork, lymphatic bodywork, facials, and foot care are all here. Many guests are pleasantly surprised to find lymphatic bodywork on the menu.

  • Quality at everyday prices. Sessions start from $30 for a 20-minute Quick Relief and $70 for a 60-minute full-body session.

Where is Kuku Spa Midtown West, and how do I get there?

Kuku Spa Midtown West is at 346 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019, steps from Columbus Circle and Central Park. The nearest subway is 59 St–Columbus Circle, served by the A, B, C, D, and 1 trains.

We are open daily from 10am to midnight, so a visit fits easily around your day. Many guests come after work, after a run in Central Park, or after a Broadway show.

What does the space feel like?

A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows looks out over a quiet garden, which gives the space a calm, open feel. The bodywork spaces are separated by curtains, so the atmosphere stays quiet.

Complimentary tea is offered to every guest, with a seating area where you can sit and enjoy it before or after your session. Many guests like the pause it gives between the city outside and the treatment.

What treatments can I book at Midtown West?

Kuku Spa offers the full range of services at Midtown West. Here is what you can book:

  • Massage and bodywork. Sessions range from a 20-minute Quick Relief to a 60-minute full-body session. Many guests choose a full-body session with extra focus on one area, such as the neck and shoulders or the lower back. You can ask your specialist to adjust the pressure at any time.

  • Lymphatic bodywork (also known as lymphatic massage). Gentle, rhythmic work that guests choose as part of their personal wellness routines, for relaxation and circulation support. It is performed by experienced, highly skilled specialists.

  • Facials. Facials are tailored to how your skin looks and feels on the day of your visit, in a dedicated beauty room.

  • Foot care. Rhythmic pressure for the feet and lower legs, to ease everyday tension and fatigue, in one of six foot chairs.

  • Combination sessions. Many guests pair bodywork with a facial for head-to-toe relaxation.

You can see the full menu on our [Services page].

How do I choose a session length and pressure?

A shorter session works well for one or two focused areas, such as the neck and shoulders or the lower back, while a longer session gives your specialist more time for full-body work. If you are unsure, we generally recommend choosing more time for a less rushed, more complete treatment. The 60-minute full-body session is one of our most booked options.

For pressure, choose light for a gentler, more relaxing experience, medium for balanced tension relief, or firm for deeper work. You can always ask your specialist to adjust it during your session.

Who visits Kuku Spa Midtown West?

Our guests are mainly professionals who work nearby and residents of the surrounding neighborhood, along with visitors staying at Midtown hotels. We also see many evening guests, including theater-goers.

Groups and corporate clients are welcome too. For four or more guests, send an inquiry through our [Events page] or email events@kukuspa.com. We also offer on-site bodywork for offices and private events. Because the bodywork spaces can be combined for couples or groups of three, Midtown West also suits small gatherings.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Here is what a first visit looks like:

  1. Arrive about 5 minutes early. Our front desk will help you choose a session and any focus areas.

  2. Undress to your comfort level. Underwear must be worn at all times, and you will be properly draped throughout your session.

  3. Speak up about pressure. You can ask your specialist to adjust the pressure at any time.

  4. Enjoy a cup of tea. Complimentary tea is available before or after your session.

When is the best time to visit, and are you open late?

Weekday mornings and late evenings tend to be quieter, while afternoons and weekends are usually the busiest. Appointments are recommended, especially in the evening and on weekends.

We are open until midnight every day, which makes Midtown West a popular choice for a late-night massage or bodywork session after work or a show. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

How much does it cost, and how do payment and tipping work?

Sessions start from $30 for a 20-minute Quick Relief and $70 for a 60-minute full-body session. Prices do not include gratuity.

Tips are given directly to your specialist after each service, including services paid with a gift card. We accept both cash and card at all three Kuku Spa locations, and cash tips are always appreciated.

How does Midtown West compare with Kuku Spa's other locations?

Kuku Spa has three Manhattan locations: Midtown West, the Upper East Side, and the Lower East Side. Midtown West is our largest and most comprehensive location and offers the fullest range of services. The Upper East Side also offers complimentary tea in a seating area. Services and prices vary by location, so check the page for the location you plan to visit: [Upper East Side page] or [Lower East Side page].

What if I am running late?

Just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you are more than 15 minutes late and we cannot reach you, your session may need to end at its originally scheduled time.
